Review of Egg Island

This morning (Saturday, 1st March), I got this message from a Leslie  in Singapore who recently bought three of my paintings. He said he had just finished Egg Island, and this is what he said.

“With vivid descriptions and relatable characters, the narrative blends humour and deeper themes of resilience and friendship, making it an engaging read that immerses me until the end”.

I used to work in an American Fortune 500 company. I was the marketing head for Taiwan, South Asia, India, and ANZ at 34. I  Had a staff of about 300 under my team. left to start my own company, Xynio, with the support of two investors. 

I was in Edinburgh and visited the place (Elephant Cafe) where JK Rowling started writing Harry Potter.

I used to love writing. When I was a primary school kid, I wrote short stories. Now, seeing Ta’s work and feeling the energy of JK Rowling, I feel like writing again. And he asked me where did I get my inspiration?
